High, High Bun Look.....

My clients always know when my hair is in the real high, high bun, Its had its last day, and it is time to wash. So everyone out there try this. Your hair goes up so much better if it has lots of build up from all of those beautiful products. Think of all that time saved from all of the roundbrushing, Flat ironing, Hot Sticks, J/k. (Do we all remember those). I am sure they will try to make there way back with some different spin on them, just you wait. So with going just those few extra days without washing you will have all this time on your hands to get all of the other important things done in the day. (Not that hair is not the most important).

Our favorite waiter wins!!!!

So I am watching the (Today Show) and there pops up Jessica and her fiance. I could not believe she won the Martha Stewart Wedding. Patrick and I loved her at one of our absolute favorite Restaurants, (Firebirds). I would say, "Babe, make sure to leave her a really big tip she is to cute and sweet" everyone has got to try Firebirds if you have not yet already.

We need more maps!!!

At least she's hot. That's all that matters, right?

You can just imagine her pageant coach beforehand saying:

"If you don't understand the question, just say something about the poor African children and something about Iraq. We'll get back points in the bikini portion of the show."

Happy 6 months Cash

My little darling Cash loves to sleep just like his Dad. These precious moments leave us way to fast. Last night Patrick and I were up all night just having one of our random, fun conversation nights. We were looking back and thinking how hard it is to have a newborn. So emotionally tiresome, the toll it takes on (Our) body. Patrick also likes to put on some extra pregnant pounds, Of course just to make me feel like I am not alone. Ha,Ha.. What a great husband. We do feel extremely blessed, we keep saying. Just from reading other blogs this past month and hearing different stories from cousins, that have left me in complete tears. Even sometimes sobbing. But of those who have recently lost loved ones. And some of those children are around the same age as our little Cash. Now how in the world can those people endure that trial of pain. And how come all of these people around us have to? I pray I never have to experience it, I just keep feeling so blessed with every child I have, that is so healthy and strong.

Farewell Party

Mom always throws great gatherings for the family. My Mom is always making things spectacular for her children. Great food last night. Loved the Italian feast and chocolate souffle's. We had to say our goodbyes to Rachel,Willie and Myles, Back to California they go. And Roman and Hayley are on there way back to Utah. We did have fun. Lots of yummy food and Laughter, good old times of just hanging out. We can not wait to see you all back for Thanksgiving. If your lucky Cash might let Myles borrow another one of his muscle man outfit's, Better start chunking him up so the outfit fits properly. We love ya all.

Mt. Humphreys: Elevation 12,633 ft.

Patrick had the time of his life hiking Mt. Humphreys. He came back exhausted and sunburned, but he still enjoyed it. He is already planning the next adventure.

We love being with family

We have so much fun when all of the family gets together. Willie makes me laugh so hard. He is like a character out of Sienfield. I really hate that they live in California. We are going to drive around the valley and pick out where they are going to live. We have it all mapped out for them for when they graduate from Dental School. They just don't know they are going to live here, they have no choice. Please live here!!!!!!

Babe, a little frusterated

We are trying to hold the record for the oldest computer (Melissa we have you won by almost 3 years, so don't complaint). Every time I need to download pictures or hook up my ipod I am down on the ground underneath the desk playing with wires twisting all over. I have started a whole new yoga program. I am not going to complain honey. I am grateful I have a computer, even if it is not a Mac, (Aryn).....One of these days it is literally going to explode!

Mixed emotions!

Wow, how time flies. I sent Noah and Lincoln off to first grade today. They were so excited. They wanted to bring their CTR rings to school, and also an extra one to give away. That explains the punching motion. Let the missionary work began early. Part of me did get a little emotional, but then I started to get a little excited when dad drove off with them. All of this free time with Cash!

Good luck, Rissa, Noah and Lincoln

Have a great day on the first day of school. I will post your actual first day photos tomorrow. Love you guys!

We'll Miss You, Utah.

We had the greatest time in Utah. So many activities every moment. Grandma and Grandpa spoiled us once again. Patrick and the boys never stopped going from the moment we arrived. I joined in on some of the fun, but could not keep up with his pace each day, which included hiking to the Timpanogas Caves, catching snakes, playing tennis, riding the alpine slide in Park City, jet sking on Jordanelle, and playing baseball.

We also got to see some of our good friends and had the privilege to visit the Day Family at their humble 12,000 sq. ft. cabin in Park City. It was too bad that David couldn't be there for the wonderful food and fun games! Next time we'll have to bring Lincoln and Noah.

It was good to see everyone. We are proud of Greg for his great success on the MCAT (although we wish he would have bombed it, so he would have to stay somewhere in the West to go to medical school).

We are also proud of Melanie for getting a 4.0 during her last semester. We are just hoping she doesn't go to NYC for school.

Thanks to Clark and Aliesha for providing great cousins for Lincoln and Noah (they said that playing with Lexi was their favorite thing from the whole week).

Finally, it was good to see Hayley and Roman living it up in Provo for their first summer away. Good luck in school this Fall!

Easy treat for kids to make

Great, easy treat for your kids to make. I loved it. My sister Marissa said to add more Oreo cookies. I'll finish off anything with chocolate within a day.

Go to Kraftfoods.com and have fun with your kids. I try to think of a million things each day that will keep my crazy kids from driving me crazy (two more weeks 'till the 1st grade!!!). Also check out their dinner meals--they're quick and effortless.
