Happy 16 Months Cash

I'm glad I could have another child so he could look just like his twin brothers.

Enjoying the Moment

I absolutely loved a pair of pajama pants that Cash got when he was a baby, that I never wanted him to grow out of. So why not turn them into Daisy Dukes and make them last longer. And with the scraps, Noah made a hat to match.

Summer Fun!

Cutting Hairand Family bonding

Hanging out with friends

Making forts with friends
Keeping Cash out of the fort.

More popcorn nights with dad

Taking the boys out to dinner if they earn it!

A cold frosty on the back porch or a cup of ice helps us get through this heat.

Musical Theatre

What a shock that my boys loved musical theatre! The play this year was Lion King. Erica Soelberg did a wonderful job working with lots of busy kids while being pregnant at the same time (wow!). My boys never get really animated, (you would think some of their mother would rub off on them), but every day when I would drop them off for classes they couldn't wait to jump out of the car and get singing with the bunch. Patrick and I were completely amazed. I guess it helped a bit that they were outnumbered by darling little girls.

Happy Late Birthday, Shannon

I have came to the conclusion that I have lost every brain cell. The worst dark cloud came over me today when I realized that I had forgotten a good friend, Shannon Latham's birthday. As I was sitting at my kids' swim meet talking with Shannon's sister, the subject came up that she was going to take Shannon's kids tomorrow so she and Mike could celebrate her birthday. I told her how sweet that was to do that for her, but why were they celebrating her birthday a week early? Well, they weren't. It was on June 10th and I thought it was on June 17th!

Shannon is truly wonder woman. She does everything for everyone, literally every minute of her life. Even on her birthday she was scrambling to get ready for Girls Camp, because she is the young women's president. The worst part is that I was talking to her throughout that whole day, asking her how her crazy day was. I am sure she probably thought it was some kind of joke that I hadn't mentioned anything about it. I LOVE you Shannon, and I'm so grateful for your example. Hopefully I can make it up to you in years to come.

Happy Birthday Courtney!

2008: Radiant as ever!

M.T.V. Tuscon Cheer Camp 1994 (excuse my mouth)

Kino Colts 1994

I have known this wonderful gal, Courtney Horne Stabler, since 5th grade where we first bonded as part of the Nutcracker. This beauty is all that and more. She is the kind of spirit you gravitate towards: strong; witty; so accomplished; brightest smile; always happy; over-the-top mother; triathlon queen; best skin ever, (I wish you would break out just once in your life!); does anything for anyone; most devoted wife; caretaker and friend; best dance moves; rockin' cheerleader (go Colts! go Toros!); has a laugh that makes me laugh; and organizer bunny.

I'm sure I could go on and on . . . but happy birthday, babe!

Hayley and Rissa are My Right Hand.....

Babysitting activities with Hayley. Cup building, making sugar cookies, painting birdhouses. Rissa, I feel the competition building. Who's the better babysitter????

Rissa and Cash bonding poolside

Me cutting Hair 24/7, and I will ALWAYS love it!!!

Oops Rissa! Should I be worried when your driving my kids around while I cut hair?, J/k babe! You poor girl! You have been hit twice and only had a license for 9 months, hope you know an attorney . . .

A huge shout out to both of my incredible sisters, Hayley Jane and Rissa Sue, for always being there when I need them. I work many hours during the week cutting hair, but when I know my kids are in good hands, it makes me love doing hair that much more. I don't ever want them to move on with life, just live right next door and continue to be my right hand (I'm sure that's their goal in life, right?)
